2001 Fall Meeting

The meeting was held at Western Sizzlin in Conway. After eating, Royce Moore called the meeting to order. The following is the minutes of the meeting.

1) Royce presented a list of 18 rules changes.

2) 17 were approved by a unanimous vote. 1 was approved with 4 votes of the present commissioners.

3) A list of the member parks was given out and Royce and Don Youngblood announced that they were talking to several other parks but did not have any commitments yet. It was decided that we would bring the list back up in the spring meeting and discuss changing the districts around.

4) It was approved that we will use the AABA Teeny and Junior playing rules in lieu of the Little League Rulebook. Don said that he was working on getting them printed about the same size as the Little League Rulebook. He said there will be a charge for the books, but hopefully the charge will not be much. A list of all changes to the LL rulebook was given to all commissioners.

5) Don presented a proposed 2002 Regulations sheet to the commissioners. After a lot of discussion, it was approved that all parks may have a maximum of 3 automatics (recruited or protected players). The 3 will include all coaches, managers, sponsors, and anyone else's children. It was tabled until the spring meeting to go over the other regulations.

6) Royce and Don were re-nominated for State Commissioner and Assistant State Commissioner. They were re-elected.

7) Royce adjourned the meeting.
