2001 AABA Spring Meeting - 2/25/2001

Our spring meeting was held at Western Sizzlin in Conway. After eating, Royce Moore called the meeting to order. He opened the meeting with our new Charter Membership forms. All member parks must complete one of these forms. After completion, the park will receive a compliance certificate. Each commissioner was then presented a copy of the new 2001 AABA Rules and By-Laws. Then Royce and Don Youngblood presented several new forms, including Official Park Roster form, Official Tournament Roster form, Minor State Tournament Pick-up form, and District Commissioner cover sheet form. Royce announced that the dates and sites for the 2001 state tournaments are as follows:

Minor Coaches meeting: July 16th, 2001 - Burns Park

Major Coaches meeting: July 17th, 2001 - Sardis

Major & Minor Tournaments begin: July 19th, 2001 

We looked over and approved using our new Teeny and Junior Playing Rules. Seniors will continue to use the Official Baseball Rules.

Royce adjourned the meeting.
